IIEC advocates to protect ratepayers from higher cost; Continues supporting an all-of-the-above energy policy

On September 18th, the IIEC testified before the Illinois Senate Energy & Public Utilities Committee regarding Senate Bill 40 as amended, also known as the Energy Omnibus Bill. In its oral testimony, IIEC re-affirmed its position that energy storage is part of Illinois energy future, but that ratepayers should not be forced to guarantee profits through another charge on their utility invoice.
